Flight Centre Group (FLG) has opened its first retail store in Hong Kong, and will be concentrating on tapping into the local expatriate market.
Flight Centre Greater China General Manager David Fraser said the new retail store will offer a more sophisticated retail travel experience to Hong Kong, TTG Asia reported.
“It will be the only local travel (consultancy) with a focus on servicing expatriate clients,” Mr Fraser said.
“The expatriate and returned overseas Chinese markets have been underserviced in Hong Kong in the past, so Flight Centre has positioned itself to pursue this opportunity and target these markets more aggressively.”
The new store features two teams of local and expatriate travel consultants which are offering English and bilingual services.
The outlet will provide services for domestic and international flight bookings, accommodation, tours packages, plus handling of visas and other travel documents.
Flight Centre Group new retail facility is the third Flight Centre-branded shop in Asia and the first outside of Singapore.
