International Pow Wow delegates were treated to a true celebrity experience at the convention’s opening night held at the Hollywood & Highland Centre.
The red carpet was rolled out and the event, akin to a major movie premiere, drew much attention from passers-by expecting to see celebrities disembark from the many coaches that pulled up in front of the venue.
Stars lined the red carpet courtesy of Madame Tussauds Hollywood, as delegates indulged in Wolfgang Puck’s signature cuisine in the central court.
Complimentary dining was also on offer in several restaurants in the centre but the most popular attraction was located in the Kodak Theatre where Cirque du Soleil offered guests a 30-minute preview of their Los Angeles based show, IRIS.
The theatre that is most famous for being the venue of the modern-day Academy Awards was packed to the rafters with delegates keen to get a sneak peek at the spectacular that takes the audience on a journey through the world of cinema.
Those after a taste of rock n’ roll headed to the Hard Rock Cafe that also opened its doors and entertained guests with a live band that had many hitting the dance floor whilst others tried their hand at bowling at Lucky Strike.
