The Star of the Rhône Valley: Château La Nerthe Wine Dinner

Harbour Grand Kowloon is pleased to present one of the oldest and most prestigious estates in France’s Rhone Valley: Château La Nerthe. A six-course extravagant wine dinner will take place on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Harbour Grill together with Watson’s Wine Wholesale.

Harbour Grill, one of Hong Kong’s premium fine dining establishments has come to be synonymous with exquisite top quality dining under the direction of Executive Chef, Marc Toutain. Chef Toutain will once again create his magic for the Château La Nerthe Wine Dinner balancing the delicate flavours of each course to bring out the depth and aromas of the six wines featured that evening.  To introduce the wine is Export Manager of Château La Nerthe, Mr Christopher Bristiel who will share his experience and expertise.

About Château La Nerthe
Château La Nerthe, located in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region of the Rhone Valley is one of the oldest and most established wineries dating as far back as 1560. With its rich history, it has become a benchmark producer of the region. The ‘terroir’ at La Nerthe is typical of the region with the vines planted along a slope and their roots digging into soils of sandy-clay and the famous ‘galettes’; large, round, well-worn stones originating from the Alps.
The 90 hectares of vines were purchased in 1985 by the Richard family and from there the wine was returned to its former glory. With a focus on organic viticulture, the wines are made with the finesse of both the traditional past and modern expertise with a great attention to detail.
The evening will commence with a cocktail reception at 7:30pm followed by dinner at 8:00pm. This sumptuous six-course wine dinner created especially for the evening is priced at HK$1,280 plus 10% service charge per person. (No discounts or privileges will be applicable for this dinner).
