Located less than two and a half hours away from Sydney is one of the most unique holiday spots, according to Vanuatu Tourism Office general manager Linda Kalpoi, who explained Vanuatu was more than just a tropical South Pacific destination.
Made up of up to 73 islands, friendly people and rare sites to see, Ms Kalpoi told agents at the Vanuatu Tourism road show in Sydney last night that Vanuatu was made up of rare experiences.
“Vanuatu stands high and it is the only destination in the South Pacific that you can walk up to the top of the rim of an active volcano,” she explained.
“It’s not just a tropical destination, it’s a destination that offers you a great experience, experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.”
Three key islands were the topic of discussion for agents last night including the main Efate Island, Espiritu Santo and Tanna.
As well as sharing the offerings available on each island, Vanuatu Tourism Office sales and marketing manager Anne Morris also told guests that commencing 26 June this year, Air Vanuatu would increase its flights from Sydney from six times weekly to seven times. You can check out more information and photos from last night by clicking here.
