Sporting enthusiasts sailing on either P&O or Cunard Cruises during the 2012 UEFA European Football and Olympic Games will be able to watch live coverage while on board.
The cruise companies will be showing live coverage of all 31 Euro 2012 football matches being held in Poland and Ukraine between 08 June and 01 July in public areas on board.
Extensive coverage of the London Olympic Games held between 27 July and 12 August will also be available to passengers to enjoy while enjoying a relaxing holiday.
Passengers will be given extensive coverage of programing including, rowing, athletics, diving, gymnastics, cycling, swimming and basketball plus the opening and closing ceremonies.
P&O Cruises managing director Carol Marlow said offering live coverage of these events means passengers don’t miss out on any of the action by taking a cruise holiday.
“Entertainment on board our ships is an integral part of our passengers’ holidays and we are delighted to be able to include coverage of these major sporting events on board,” Ms Marlow said.
Ms Marlow added that for those passengers not interested in watching these events, there is a number of ways to enjoy time spent on board, including restaurants, bars, pools, spas and theatres.“Every day can be tailor made to ensure a perfectly relaxing cruise,” Ms Marlow added.
