Tiger Airways is growing its international network, with plans to operate daily flights from Singapore to the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh from October 2012.
Tiger is expanding its network to meet customer demand and is currently offering promotional fares to its new destinations.
Tiger Airways Singapore managing director Stewart Adams said Cambodia has much to offer both holiday and business travellers.
“Cambodia has made great strides over the past decade to become both a tremendously popular tourist destination and a business hub in the region.
“Tiger Airways is glad to be able to contribute to the country’s continued growth by further strengthening its international air links, offering travellers more choices of flights to better serve their needs, be it for business or leisure,” Mr Adams said.
Tiger Airways recently launched flights from Singapore to Hyderabad, further establishing its presence in the emerging Indian market.
The airline also began operating services out of its new base at Sydney Airport, providing 150 new jobs and 10 additional return domestic flights throughout Australia.
