Ballymore Announces the Launch of Providence Tower, Canary Wharf, London

Ballymore Group will launch details of its newest waterfront living scheme in London this month, creating a new investment opportunity at one of the UK’s most prestigious addresses.

Details of Providence Tower were unveiled at a press conference held in Hong Kong today, followed by two investor events in Hong Kong and Singapore in September.

Designed by international architects Skidmore , Owings and Merrill , Providence Tower is the final building on the successful New Providence Wharf estate, a high-end residential community located next door to Canary Wharf, the world’s banking centre.

Standing at 43 stories tall, the meticulously designed apartments in Providence Tower will have panoramic views across London, as well as outstanding interior finishes. Residents will also enjoy exclusive use of a Sky Lounge and Sky Terrace atop the tower, which will serve as a place for quiet relaxation as well as a hospitality suite for private parties.

Fronting the River Thames and criss-crossed by serene pathways and lawns, New Providence Wharf is a beautiful 8.2 acre hub of tranquility – a counter balance to the 24/7 energy of Canary Wharf’s banking environment.

On-site facilities for the exclusive use of New Providence Wharf residents will include the new NPW Athletic Club with full-length beep test track, boxing ring, 25 metre swimming pool and steam, sauna and hydro areas; as well as the new NPW Business Centre with office and meeting facilities. This will be backed up with a concierge service, valet parking, and comprehensive security infrastructure. Additionally, the estate is anchored by a Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel with a full suite of services, including Spa, available to all residents.

The estate also benefits from outstanding public transport links with short journey times to the City, West End and Airports. Moreover, Canary Wharf and the new Crossrail Station is just a few minutes’ walk away.

Speaking ahead of the press conference Richard Oakes of Ballymore said: “This is a very exciting scheme and one which will complete the New Providence Wharf jigsaw. The vibrant, thriving professional community within Canary Wharf, coupled with the residential community we’ve already facilitated at New Providence Wharf means that it’s a unique investment opportunity for people looking to bolster their UK property portfolio. The City airport and rail links also add to this mix.”

Ballymore Group has a longstanding track record in City developments; its recent residential schemes include Baltimore Wharf and Pan Peninsula which both stand in the Docklands. It is also currently marketing investment opportunities at Embassy Gardens in the new Nine Elms regeneration area close to Battersea as well as schemes in Wapping and Hayes.
