Aerolineas Argentinas and AVIAREPS enter cooperation in Russia and Ukraine

General Sales Agent appointed to strengthen product knowledge and promote network for trade and consumers

AVIAREPS and Argentina’s flag carrier Aerolíneas Argentinas have announced a cooperation for Russia and Ukraine. The leading General Sales Agent will promote the airline and its strong South American network as well as its long haul services by strengthening product knowledge and brand awareness in the territories. AVIAREPS’ sales and marketing experts in both Russian offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg as well as in the Ukrainian capital Kiev have been selected to utilize their excellent track record with the promotion of offline carriers for the benefit of Aerolíneas Argentinas. Trade and consumers alike can now address their requests to a local point of contact to discover the route network, attractive fares and convenient connections.

Currently, Aerolíneas Argentinas offers long haul connections to the European cities of Barcelona, Madrid and Rome. Apart from that, the ultimate strength of the carrier lies in its domestic and regional network. Scheduled flights to Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela are on offer, representing an attractive coverage of major South American destinations. In addition, Aerolíneas Argentinas, being the largest airline in Argentina, operates 34 inner-Argentinian routes with its domestic carrier Austral Línes Aéreas from its two hubs in Buenos Aires.

Aerolíneas Argentinas will become a member of the Sky Team alliance in autumn 2012 to further enhance its product offer and route network. The current fleet of Aerolíneas Argentinas consists of 30 aircraft, being composed of Airbus A340-200 and 300, Boeing 737-700 and 800 and Embraer aircrafts.
