In celebration of the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Singapore, British Airways has announced special fares for customers travelling from Singapore to the UK and Europe this autumn and into the winter, starting from just S$1,428 in World Traveller economy class.

The limited-time offer is available for sale between now and 14 September 2012. Customers can travel between now and 30 November 2012, and from 26 December 2012 until 28 February 2013.

British Airways, which flew the royal couple back to London on 11 September, commemorated the Duke and Duchess’ trip to Singapore with a special advertising campaign. The print advertisement shows a British Airways flight attendant serving freshly brewed hot tea in a traditional Singaporean tea bag.
On the campaign, Nick McGlynn, British Airways Regional General Manager, South East Asia. said: “This execution embodies British Airways’ ‘To Fly. To Serve.’ spirit, which is about putting the customer at the heart of all that we do through our thoughtful service and understated style.”

“We’ve been flying to Singapore for over 70 years. Whether we are flying royalty back home, shuttling business travellers around the world or looking after families on vacation, we take pride in being able to meet the needs of our customers and providing them with an experience to remember.”

On the special fare promotion, Nick McGlynn added: “This is a very special year for the UK and for British Airways, and we are delighted to be offering a promotion to suit the budgets of all travellers – whether they are looking for a great last-minute deal to London, or to explore the best of the UK and Europe in the autumn and winter.

“What’s more, British Airways is opening up more of the UK for visitors from Singapore, thanks to the recent announcement of flights to Leeds Bradford Airport in Yorkshire starting from 9 December.”

As seats under this sale are limited, customers are urged to book early on to avoid disappointment.
